PRENATAL VISITS
I take on a limited number of clients at any one time to make sure I can give you the full care and attention you deserve. By offering Prenatal Visits, my goal is to reduce any stress, allowing you to pay attention to your body and your baby.
BIRTHING GUIDANCE
With my Birthing Guidance, I offer unwavering support to you and your family before, during and after birth. I will stay in close contact in order to routinely check how you’re doing and step in with anything you might need.

I see each pregnancy as a unique miracle. I've been a professional Doula based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin since 2000. HOW WILL HIRING YOU AFFECT MY PARTNER’S ROLE DURING THE BIRTH?
Your partner’s role will not be affected because I utilize inclusion strategies. These form will help my client feel supported, create that intimacy and closeness with the partner. Your partner will learn and practice comfort measures during the prenatal period for him/her to perform those learned skills during the labor/delivery phase.
WHAT ARE YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH MEDICAL STAFF LIKE?
The interaction with the medical team is to allow your voice to be heard when you are most vulnerable. I will share the birth plan to ensure that they honor the client’s wishes listed. Whether is dimmed lights, water birth, aroma therapy, keeping the placenta for encapsulation or to delay clamping. They are all important to exceptionally support all clients.
DO YOU PERFORM ANY PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS?
The medical team will perform physical exams. I would assist by informing my client’s wishes. For example, if the client would like to limit the cervical checks to avoid the risk of infections, then I will ensure the medical team know it and honor it.

¿CÓMO AFECTARÁ SU CONTRATACIÓN EL PAPEL DE MI PAREJA DURANTE EL PARTO?
El rol de tu pareja no se verá afectado porque utilizo estrategias de inclusión. Estos formularios ayudarán a mi cliente a sentirse apoyado, crear esa intimidad y cercanía con la pareja. Su pareja aprenderá y practicará medidas de comodidad durante el período prenatal para que pueda realizar las habilidades aprendidas durante la fase de trabajo de parto/nacimiento.
¿CÓMO SON SUS INTERACCIONES CON EL PERSONAL MÉDICO?
La interacción con el equipo médico es permitir que se escuche su voz cuando es más vulnerable. Compartiré el plan de nacimiento para asegurar que cumplan con los deseos del cliente enumerados. Ya sea con luces tenues, parto con agua, aromaterapia, retención de la placenta para encapsularla o retrasar el pinzamiento. Todos ellos son importantes para apoyar excepcionalmente a todos los clientes.
¿REALIZA ALGÚN EXAMEN FÍSICO?
El equipo médico realizará exámenes físicos. Ayudaría informando los deseos de mi cliente. Por ejemplo, si el cliente desea limitar los controles cervicales para evitar el riesgo de infecciones, me aseguraré de que el equipo médico lo sepa y lo respete.
